Dear All,

We cordially invite you to participte in 2010 workshop "BioInformatics in Torun - BIT10".

This yearly conference, to be held on June 10-12, 2010 in Torun, is co-organized by Polish Bioinformatics Society and the Faculty of Physics, Astronomy and Informatics of N. Copernicus Univeristy, Torun, Poland. Lectures and the poster session (June 10,11) will be hosted by Faculty of Mathematics and Computer Science, Chopina Street, Torun. Tutorials (June 12) will be presented at the Institute of Physics, Grudziadzka 5 Street.

The workshop traditionally collects renown international experts in bioinformatics and protein modelling. The aim of BIT10 is to review recent progress in the field with strong emphasis on new methods rather than detailed applications.

There are still some time slots for contributed lectures, interested parties should send their intersests and abstracts before April 20, 2010.

We encourage younger scientists to present posters.
The workshop language is English.

Registration deadline - June 8th.
Registration fee is 200 zł (waiver for invited lecturers apply), PTBI members registration fee is 150 zł, and it covers participation in sessions, coffee breaks, sightseeing tour.
Organizers may help you to arrange a reasonable accomodation in Torun.

Students (undergraduade!) of bioinformatics may apply for a waiver of the registration fee to The Organizing Committe.
